Bat City Birdies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Money Caddie mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In.
- Golf Profile: Handicap index, course handicap, and scoring preferences.
- Game Data: Scores, game settings, bet configurations, and settlement results.
- Payment Handles: Venmo username, Cash App tag, or Zelle identifier — stored solely to facilitate peer-to-peer settlement between players. We do not process payments.
- Contact Information: Name, email, and message content submitted through our contact form.
- Event Registration: Name and email address provided when registering for a hosted scramble or tournament through the App or our website.
Information Collected Through Purchases
- Subscription and Purchase Data: If you make an in-app purchase or subscribe, Apple or Google processes your payment directly. We do not receive or store your payment method, credit card number, or billing address. We receive a transaction receipt, subscription status (active, expired, or cancelled), and the associated user account — solely to grant access to purchased features.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: App feature usage, session duration, and interaction patterns via Firebase Analytics.
- Crash Data: Crash logs and diagnostic information via Firebase Crashlytics, used solely to identify and fix bugs.
- Location Data: Approximate location (when you grant permission) to find nearby golf courses. Location is used in real time and is not stored on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App
- Create and manage your account
- Facilitate multiplayer game sessions and score tracking
- Calculate and display bet settlements between players
- Send you notifications related to your active games
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- Analyze usage trends to improve the App experience
- Identify and fix crashes and technical issues
- Manage your subscription status and grant access to purchased features
- Send transactional communications (game invitations, scramble results, account updates)
- Send promotional communications only with your prior consent (you may withdraw consent at any time)
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Other Players: Your display name, profile photo, handicap index, scores, and payment handles are visible to other players in your game session.
- Service Providers: We use Google Firebase to operate the App. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.
- Payment Platforms: Apple and Google process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access to authorized users.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Update: You can view and update your profile information within the App.
- Delete Account: You may request account deletion by contacting us.
- Location: You can disable location permissions in your device settings at any time.
- Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
- Marketing Consent: You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us.
- Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Storage)
- Google Sign-In
- Apple Sign-In
- RevenueCat (if applicable, for subscription management)
9. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. We receive only a purchase receipt, subscription status, and the associated user account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or on our website.
